Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data is collected on mllelphotographie.fr, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Fanny Monier Decatoire, a sole trader operating under the name Mlle L Photographie, 29 Rue du Château-Rouge, 74100 Annemasse, France (SIRET 884 341 009 00014).

What data, and what for?

Contact or booking request. The form on the Contact page collects the information you enter: first name, last name, email address, phone number and details about your project (type of session, preferred period). It is used to reply to you, prepare a proposal and organise your session. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request. This form is provided by Fotostudio (fotostudio.io), the studio management software used by Mlle L Photographie, which stores this information on its behalf.

Form for a one-off offer (a window that opens on the website, for example for the Christmas mini-sessions). First name, last name and email address, used only to contact you again about that offer. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box provided. This information is sent by email to Mlle L Photographie and stored on the website’s server.

Newsletter (Blog page). Your email address, to send you new articles. Legal basis: your consent, confirmed by a link received by email. Each mailing contains an unsubscribe link.

Forms in our Google ads. If you fill in a form directly within a Google ad, Google sends us the contact details you entered so that we can get back to you. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Photography services. If you book a session, the data needed for the service, the delivery of your private gallery and invoicing is processed. Legal basis: performance of the contract and accounting obligations.

Audience measurement. To find out which pages are viewed and improve the website, we use Matomo, installed on our own server (the data is not passed on to third parties), as well as Google Analytics, which also measures contact requests coming from our Google Ads. Google Analytics is only activated with your consent, given in the cookie banner (legal basis: your consent). See the “Cookies and trackers” section below.

Who receives your data?

Your data is intended solely for Mlle L Photographie. It is never sold, rented or transferred. Some technical service providers process it on our behalf:

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): hosting of the website and email;
  • Fotostudio: contact form and session management;
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Maps map on the Contact page, Google Fonts typefaces;
  • Trustindex: display of Google reviews on the website;
  • jsDelivr: delivery of technical components of the website (gallery, photo viewer).

When a page displays content provided by these services (map, reviews, fonts, form), your browser connects to their servers, which then receive your IP address.

Transfers outside the European Union

Switzerland, where the website is hosted, benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission: your data is protected there to an equivalent standard. Google’s services may involve a transfer to the United States; Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long is it kept?

  • Contact request without a booking: 3 years after our last exchange;
  • Clients: for the duration of the relationship, then 3 years; accounting records: 10 years, as required by law;
  • Registration for a one-off offer: 3 years after you register;
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe;
  • Audience measurement cookies: 13 months at most.

Your rights

At any time, you can access your data, have it corrected or erased, request the restriction of its processing, object to it, request its portability and withdraw your consent where it was requested. You can also set out instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death.

Simply write to contact@mllelphotographie.fr; you will receive an answer within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France).

Cookies and trackers

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Here are the ones this website uses:

  • _ga and _ga_MMYKLCW7D2 (Google Analytics): audience measurement and measurement of contact requests coming from our ads; set only if you click “Accept”; 13 months at most;
  • mlle_consent_v1 (your browser’s storage): remembers your cookie choice for 6 months;
  • mlle_promo_state_v1 (your browser’s storage, never sent to a server): remembers that you have already seen the window of a one-off offer or sent its form, so that it is not shown to you again;
  • Matomo: audience measurement installed on our server; it does not set any cookie;
  • Embedded services: the Google Maps map (Contact page) and the Fotostudio form may set their own cookies when they are displayed;
  • Administration login: technical WordPress cookies are set only for the people who manage the website.

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse Google Analytics, just as easily one way as the other. You can change this choice at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of each page.

Google processes Google Analytics data according to its own rules (policies.google.com/privacy). You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and refuse Google Analytics with the opt-out add-on offered by Google (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Security

The website is only accessible over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the administration and to the data is restricted to authorised people and protected against repeated login attempts.

Updates

This policy may change, for example if a new tool is added to the website. Last updated: 26 September 2026.
